The closest stop of the public transport is Bunsengymnasium, just in front of the institute. From Heidelberg main station one can reach the venue with trams 21 and 24. Bus 31 runs between the Mathematikon and the town centre. Both trams and the bus run at a 10 min frequency.

The most convenient international airport is Frankfurt (FRA) from which there are frequent trains to Heidelberg. The train ride from Frankfurt airport to Heidelberg takes about one hour and may involve changing trains either at the main station in Frankfurt or in Mannheim. A one-way ticket costs € 26.
There is a reliable and efficient shuttle service from Frankfurt airport to Heidelberg. A staff member of TLS picks you up at the airport and takes you to Heidelberg. It is also possible to take the Lufthansa Airport Shuttle from Frankfurt airport to Heidelberg. The shuttle starts from the meeting points in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 and terminates at the Crowne Plaza Heidelberg City Centre (Kurfürstenanlage 1-3, 69115 Heidelberg).
