Lernziele Students understand the abstract concept of subspace correction methods in the context of finite elements. They can apply these concepts in overlapping and non-overlapping domain decomposition methods as well as multigrid methods. Participants master the convergence theory of these methods and are able to implement methods on parallel computers.
